Immingham Town Council unveil new Electric Car

Immingham Town Council are at the forefront of driving down carbon emissions in the town, and with the help of Associated British Ports (ABP), have invested in their first electric vehicle for use by the town lengthsman.

The vehicle replaces a 15 year old diesel truck which was proving costly to maintain and in need of repair. This new vehicle emits zero carbon emissions, costs just 1.5p per mile to run and does not need to be taxed. This is the first in a big plan of projects for Immingham that the Town Council has in store.
