BADMAC – BBQ & Fun Day – 5th August, 2018
After several cancellations, due to the non-availability of the Chef and adverse weather condidiotns, BADMAC finally held their first (there may be another one) BBQ & Fun Fly Day for 2018, at the Meaux flying field.
It was a beautiful, if somewhat hot, day; however, the trees which usually give us problems when flying in a Southerly wind, provided a very good sun shade, for the many spectators who turned up (the car park was almost full) to watch the fun, and consume the Burgers & Hot Dogs.
I managed to win, against fierce opposition, the ‘precision flying’ competition; but, was edged into second place, by Tim, for the ‘all up, last down’ competition.
