Beverley Steam Fair 1976 archive ref DDX1645 1 4

We all love a good fair, with the celebrated Hull Fair perhaps being the most famous in East Yorkshire, and certainly the largest. But the neighbouring town of Beverley has also had its fair share. Take this one on the Westwood in 1976, with steam and traction engines galore, fire-eating circus performers and old favourites such as the carousel and ‘big wheel’; all the fun of the fair was to be had back in Beverley, in 1976.
