Sport Rehabilitation at the University of Hull

Sport Rehabilitation at the University of Hull is a very vocational course, where students get a lot of hands-on experience.

Students have opportunities to work with a range of local and international elite and semi-pro athletes. In the past students have worked with the Rugby League World Cup, and local teams Hull KR, Hull FC, Hull City.

Students also have many additional opportunities outside of the course, such as an external first aid qualification and kineseo tape courses.

The course is accredited by BASRaT (British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers). Upon graduation, students are eligible to become a member of BASRaT, and so can practice as a Sport Rehabilitator.

Career prospects for graduates are really good, interesting and different. We have many graduates that work with pro-level football and rugby league teams. Graduates have also set up their own private practices, joined the Ministry of Defence as Exercise Rehabilitator Instructors, or continued on in further study, such as a Masters or PhD.
